I picked up a camera for the first time when I was nine, a Kodak Hawkeye Instamatic, a gift from my grandparents, that I still have. It is what began my life long love affair with photography.  

 

Influenced by great image makers like Ansel Adams and Arnold Neuman I have spent the past 50 + years making pictures of the world and the people that inhabit it.  

This web site is my attempt to chronicle those travels.

 

I have created five galleries, listed at the top of the page.  Each is loosely dedicated to a theme or maybe better stated a collection of loosely related images.  

There is a 6th Gallery of portraits, both formal and casual
